Support for Businesses

Do you want to start your own business? Do you own a business and would you like to receive some support? Our PEAT Projects can provide a minimum of 12 hours of support for existing businesses and entrepreneurs. This support is tailored to your needs and could include:

  • Creating business plans
  • Interactive workshops and bite size training programmes
  • Networking events
  • 1:1 business support

Small grants between £1,000 and £20,000 are also available for new and existing small businesses, sole traders, social enterprises and voluntary/charitable organisations who have recently set up or want to develop their business or organisation. This fund is administered by Nova Wakefield District; please visit Community Business Start Up Programme - Nova (nova-wd.org.uk) for more detail and eligibility criteria.
